BUGBROOKE MEDICAL PRACTICE

Dispensing

The National Health Service regulations for doctors to dispense medication for their patients are very strict and we are required to comply with them. We are only allowed to dispense medication for our patients who live outside Bugbrooke, Flore, Weedon and the Northampton Borough. Our in-house dispensary is open Monday to Friday from 8.30am to 1.00pm and 2.00 to 6.30pm.

You will be advised if we are able to dispense your medication when you register with the practice.

Staff Protection

A zero tolerance policy towards violent, threatening and abusive behaviour is in place in the practice. Our staff have the right to do their work in an environment free from such behaviour, either on the telephone or in the practice. Everything will be done to protect that right. At no time will any violent, threatening or abusive behaviour be tolerated in this practice. If you do not respect the rights of our staff we may choose to inform the police and make arrangements for you to be removed from our medical list. All consulting rooms are fitted with alarms for staff to summon assistance if required.

Freedom Of Information - Publication Scheme

The Freedom of Information Act 2000 which came into force on 1st January 2005 obliges the practice to produce a publication scheme. A publication scheme is a guide to the classes of information the practice intends to routinely make available. This scheme is available from reception.
