HOW DO I....

OBTAIN A REPEAT PRESCRIPTION?

If you require medication on a regular basis, you will receive a re-order form with your medication. To order more medication, please tick the items you require and return this form to the practice.

Please allow two working days for your request to be processed, taking into consideration weekends and bank holidays.

If you require your prescription to be returned to you in the post, please provide a stamped addressed envelope, otherwise you can collect your prescription from the practice or make arrangements for it to be sent to Bugbrooke Pharmacy next door to the practice or to a pharmacy of your choice.

If you are unable to return the re-order form to the practice, you may telephone the practice between 10.30am and 12 noon. Please select the repeat prescription option from the main menu.

You can also fax your request to the practice on (01604) 832785.

Online Ordering

EMIS ACCESS is an online service for ordering repeat medication, for which you will need an access number and a password. Please ask at reception for details.

Medication Review

All patients receiving repeat medication are required to have a medication review check at least annually. If you receive an invitation requiring you to book an appointment to have a check-up then it is important that you do this. If you do not respond to the invitation then it could delay further requests for your medication.

Dispensing

Our dispensing policy explains which patients are eligible for this service.
