New Triage System 3rd April

We are excited to introduce a new triage system, designed to improve patient access to the right care at the right time. This system, launching on 3rd April, will streamline the appointment process and ensure patients receive the most appropriate support based on their health needs.

Introducing: Heidi AI

At Bugbrooke Medical Practice, we are committed to delivering high-quality, patient-centred care. As part of our ongoing efforts to enhance your experience, we are excited to introduce a new tool that is being used in some consultations: Heidi AI.

Pharmacy First

The Pharmacy First campaign is a nationwide initiative aimed at making healthcare more accessible while reducing pressure on GP services. This scheme allows pharmacists to provide expert advice and treatment for a range of common conditions, ensuring patients receive prompt care without needing a GP appointment.

Our New Cancer Care Champion

We are delighted to announce that our practice now has a dedicated Cancer Care Champion, Suzanne, who is here to provide additional support for patients and carers navigating a cancer diagnosis.

Mental Health Support

The NHS is taking a significant step forward in addressing the growing demand for mental health services with the introduction of Option 2 on the NHS 111 service. This dedicated mental health support line is designed to provide swift, accessible help to those in need, offering guidance, resources, and an essential lifeline for individuals experiencing mental health challenges.

Festive Opening Hours

We will have adjusted opening hours during the festive period, and we encourage patients to plan ahead for any prescription needs. Please ensure all requests are submitted in good time. For urgent medical assistance while we are closed, contact 111.

Changes to Dispensary Hours

We are updating the opening hours of our dispensary to better serve our patients and ensure a smooth service experience.
